Marc DiDonato
Marc DiDonato graduated from Plymouth State in 2020 with a B.S. in Music Education. Since then, he has taught music and choir at Laconia Middle School and is now shifting towards full-time private lesson work.
A true multi-instrumentalist at heart, Marc has yet to meet an instrument he hasn’t enjoyed and understood. Though starting his musical journey on trombone, he soon found a passion for guitar which developed into a knack for the brass and guitar families as a whole. As a choir director, he quickly learned to love the piano and found his own roots as a vocalist. His primary genres of expertise are blues, jazz, and folk and his specialty lies in fingerstyle guitar.
Through his value as a musical jack-of-all-trades, Marc brings a unique perspective to learning a instrument that is centered in proven fundamentals, repeatable processes, problem solving techniques, and self-reflection. Valuing both reading music and playing by ear equally, his goal is to create musicians that can read and speak the language fluently.
Marc currently plays trumpet with the Gilford Community Band and tuba with the Carter Mountain Brass Band. He can also be found backing up open mics for students, playing in orchestra pits, or picking the banjo on his back porch.
